A friendly reminder of the Milnerton CPF Subsector3 Meeting on 31/03/2014 @18h30 in the second floor meeting room , Milnerton SAPS , Koeberg Rd .

The focus this month will be on : 

                           What you can do - Establishing Street Committees and Whatapp groups with your neighbors .

Please join us and find out how to become part of this initiative working with your neighbors  to improve safety and communication in your immediate area.

This has worked well in other areas and we would appreciate your support.

UPDATE - MCW Planned March 28 March 2014

Milnerton Crime Watch

Please be advised that reports of a planned march from the Joe Slovo informal settlement to the City of Cape Town’s Milnerton offices is planned for action tomorrow morning being 28 March 2014.

Good Morning 

So far today  all is quiet  in Joe Slovo although there may well be more protests during the course of the day in that area. The protests were sparked by the demolition of illegal shacks in the area .

A  HUGE thank you to the contingent from SAPS Milnerton, Public Order Policing and Metro that contained the violence within the area and didn't allow it to spill over onto Koeberg Road which would have caused major disruptions.

CAUTIONARY NOTICE : Joe Slovo and Montague Gardens

Dear Residents

Please be aware that there are currently  some disturbances in Joe Slovo and Montague Gardens.

SAPS are attending to this matter but  it would  be prudent to avoid these areas today if possible.
